About UsBioThe formation of Chillen Muzic began in October 2004, when it’s founding members (who were at the time students at University of Buea), came together with a sole purpose of laying out beats. Before becoming partners, these individuals, who were passionate lovers of various forms of audiovisual arts and design, sort to expand their creative horizon by simply engaging in non commercial multipurpose activities meant to improve their skills in an apparently untrained field, in what was then termed “pastime activity”. Having acquired a small flat, with a few electronic gargets and some tons of inspiration, they had set out to have fun at their spare time, by making records and programming song arrangements. Later when the need to seek for new alternatives to cover their operating costs and studio expenses arose, they tried offering certain customer related services to others ( mostly fellow students back at the University) to keep the studio up and going and the name “CHI+LLE+N” Muzic was then coined from the initials of its founding members. In 2005, after successfully shooting their first video and producing a couple of audio records, the studio went on to include a video editing production unit to its premises. By 2006, Chillen Muzic had gone on to accommodate more staff and by the end of 2007 it started a club with a goal of getting itself across a wider public and participating in the local community to foster creativity and cultural awareness. Today, after having undergone several operational challenges in a business requiring a lot of level headedness and shrewd management, they have become a renowned leader in the entertainment industry in Buea and much of the North and South West Province of Cameroon. Vision Chillen Muzic is committed to insuring that a pool of inspired, open-minded, concerned, and confident youth, is encouraged through engaging in creative and contributive activities to the promotion of social wealth in showbiz in Cameroon and the rest of Africa .
